Elisabeth is best known for her appearances in the Annual CrossFit Games. Less than 6 months after being introduced to CrossFit, Elisabeth qualified to the 2011 CrossFit Games, Placing 13th overall and making a splash with her memorable performance in the “Killer Kage” event.


Elisabeth is a top CrossFit Athlete with five CrossFit Games appearances and two consecutive North Central Regional crowns. She’s well known for winning CrossFit Games events such as the 2012 “Double Banger,” and 2013 “Cinco 1,”  2014 “Clean Speed Ladder,” and 2015 “Soccer Chipper.” Elisabeth is also accomplished in the sport of Olympic-style weightlifting with three USA Weightlifting National qualifications and American Open Weightlifting Championship appearances to her name. Elisabeth is a proud member of SEALFIT Kokoro 30.


Elisabeth brings the experience of 15 years of competitive gymnastics, CrossFit Level 1 certification, CrossFit Kids certification, and coaching over 40 fitness seminars during the past 3 years.

    Not sure if I have been living under a rock for the last few years but I never heard of Crossfit until 2 weeks ago. I was channel surfing and ran across ESPN2 and saw you competing and was like wth are they doing lol… I found a local box here in Kansas City and started with the Bootcamps and now I understand the addiction and totally excited about getting to every class. Keep up the good work and I enjoy your posts on FB.

    I was lucky enough to get to watch you in action this weekend at Crossfit Rutherford. My husband and I have been crossfitting for almost a year. We weren’t participating in the camp but came by to see our local heros with you guys. We were blown away to say the least. It is awesome to see such amazingly strong women.     Awesome job! Just read your blog and am blown away by all that you have done. A friend of mine started taking classes and then I remember seeing your facebook posts about crossfit and then it finally clicked, had no idea what it was. Will definitely have to check out a crossfit gym in my area. Just had baby #2 and it has been difficult trying to balance motherhood and fitness. For me the latter has most definitely been suffering 🙂 Keep up the great work and…keep inspiring!

    • Hi Loi! Yes, you should definitely look for a Crossfit gym. Crossfit workouts are high intensity (but can be scaled to whatever your fitness level is) so you’ll maximize your time spent- I know it’s really hard with little ones, we’ve all been there. Also, here is a list of workouts that can be done anywhere if you feel comfortable trying it out on your own Thanks for your support, let me know if I can help.

    Your an inspiration! I adored and identify with ” I’m not trying to be so diesel”! I’m a retired firefighter, mothers to an 18 month old and very new to crossfit, but have been weight training for 18 years. The last year that I introduced crossfit into my life, I’m stronger and stronger! And I definitely get the “looks”.. Thanks for writting this!

    Hey Elisabeth! just wanted to say that you have a great blog and that I love watching you compete. Best of luck at regionals this year! I’m wondering if you have ever considered doing a piece on being a female athlete, especially a high level crossfit athlete, and dealing with…menstruation. I’ve been crossfitting for a little over a year now and am trying to get some insight on crossfit athletes and how they cope. As crossfit is such an intense workout,I havent been regular since starting. Just thought it’d be an interesting topic for your readers if you’ve ever had any personal experiences with it! thanks!
